BRIDGEPORT — Story Club Chicago welcomes South Side storytellers to the Co-Prosperity Sphere this month to share their tales on stage.

The nonfiction storytelling group will host a workshop, open mic and show at 3221 S. Morgan St. on Tuesday.

Here’s a look at the schedule:

6:30 p.m., Free Storytelling Workshop

This is for anyone with a story, idea or interest in one day telling stories on stage. There’s no experience required.

7:30 p.m., Open Mic Sign-Up

You’ll have to sign up quickly, because there are only three available spots. Each storyteller gets eight minutes.

8 p.m., Show

This month’s theme is “like a lion” — stories about “real badasses.” Performers include James Gordon, James Sweeney and Joy Ellison.

This BYOB event is free, but organizers suggest a $10 donation.
