CHICAGO — If you don't mind getting a little wet, you'll be able to spend plenty of time outside this weekend.
Temperatures will be warmer than average throughout the weekend, with Friday expected to hit 57 degrees and Saturday and Sunday reaching past 60 degrees, said AccuWeather meteorologist Paul Walker.
There will be several rain showers on Saturday, though, Walker said, and Sunday will probably be the wettest day of the weekend.
"I don't think it'll be that bad," Walker said. We "still can get some outdoor activities done in between the downpours.
"Despite the rain, it's still gonna remain pretty warm."
The weekend's warm weather will stretch into next week, Walker said. Things will get a bit chillier toward the end of the week with temperatures dropping closer to what's normal.
Chicago has "a nice spring weekend coming up here," Walker said.
