HUMBOLDT PARK — Two men were wounded in a shooting in Humboldt Park Tuesday evening, police said.

Just before 7 p.m., the two men, ages 19 and 26, were standing on the corner of Ferdinand Street and Lawndale Avenue when they heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 19-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound in his neck, Pacheco said, and the 26-year-old was taken to Norwegian Hospital after being shot in his left leg.

Both men were in "stable" condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody, police said.
