Cab Drivers Being Robbed in Englewood, Police Say

ENGLEWOOD — Chicago Police have issued a warning after three recent robberies of cab drivers in Englewood.

The robberies occurred between Feb. 12-18 the 6600 block of South Honore Street and 6600 block of South Wolcott Avenue in Englewood, police said. In each case the drivers were robbed at gunpoint, police said.

The robbers are described as two black men ages 20-35, 5-foot-7 to 6-foot tall, weighing 160-200 pounds with black hair and medium to dark complexions.

Police asked anyone with information about the robberies to call detectives at 312-747-8273.
