HUMBOLDT PARK — A 24-year-old man was in good condition after being shot on a Humboldt Park street corner Friday evening, police said.

Around 6:35 p.m., the man was standing in the 3800 block of West Division Street when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man brought himself to Norwegian Hospital and was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound in his left leg, Estrada said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
