LOGAN SQUARE — Fans of cosplay, white Russians and "The Big Lebowski" are in luck later this month as Logan Theatre partners with the massive Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, better known as C2E2.

The theater's late-night calendar for March is devoted to comics and sci-fi heroes with events such as C2E2 trivia nights, a cosplay costume contest, a meet and greet with comic book creators and a "Big Lebowski"  costume and beer party.

There will also be late-night screenings of films that cater to the C2E2 crowd throughout the month.

"Our plan for the year is to engage our community and our patrons a little more," said Jennifer Zacarias, marketing director for the theater. "We are not just a movie theater. We have an awesome lounge and a fully stocked bar."

Logan Theatre, 2636 N. Milwaukee Ave., held a few events in conjunction with C2E2 last year, but this year's partnership is significantly larger.

There will be chances to win passes to the C2E2 expo during a number of the events at the theater, including a test-your-cosplay costume contest March 11.

Full list of events:

• Test-Your-Cosplay Costume Contest, 7 p.m. March 11. The C2E2 team will judge participants in the costume contest, with comic swag and expo passes as prizes.

• Comic Creators Showcase, 3-6 p.m. March 13. An afternoon featuring Revolution Brewing's Galaxy Hero comic and beer, and a G-Mart Comics Pop-Up shop.

• C2E2-Sponsored Movie Trivia Night, 8 p.m. March 15. Similar to Logan Theatre's typical movie trivia nights, plus comic and C2E2 pass prizes

• Comic Creators Showcase, 7 p.m. March 16. Meet and greet with Markisan Naso and Jason Muhr, creators of the "Voracious" comic book series about a time-traveling chef who hunts dinosaurs in the past and serves them at his restaurant in the present. Challenger Comics will be at the theater with a pop-up shop with limited-edition and featured comics.

• Pipeworks Brewing Co. Sponsored Trivia Night, 8 p.m. March 24. Another trivia night ... this time The Dude is the name of the game.

• "Big Lebowski" Costume & Beer Party, 8 p.m. March 24. Pipeworks Brewing Co. returns to The Logan Theatre to release a limited batch of their white Russian milk stout called "Hey Careful Man, There's a Beverage Here." The beer crafters will be there to judge the costume contest, giving out brewery swag. Guests can stick around afterward for a 10:30 PM screening of the Coen Brothers' hit.
