ANDERSONVILLE — Dying to show off your Scandinavian roots through the art of dance?

The Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark St., will be offering Scandinavian dances Fridays in March. Classes will be from 7:30-10 p.m. on March 4, 11 and 18, according to its website.

"Emphasis is on basic dance techniques one step at a time. Beginners learn how to recognize music, connect with your partner, lead and follow," the website said adding classes also "build a strong foundation to develop additional dance skills and improve technique" for advanced dancers.

A suggested donation will be accepted at the classes: $10 for members and $15 for non-members. A 20 percent discount is given to those who pay for three classes at once.

No partner is needed for the classes.
