LOGAN SQUARE — All aboard the early voting express this weekend.

Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa (35th), who claims he will be wearing a conductor hat, will be taking voters to and from the early voting polls Saturday afternoon on a trolley.

Ramirez-Rosa will be joined by state Rep. Will Guzzardi on the early vote express during the get out the vote event.

"It's kind of a play on people renting trolleys to go party," the alderman said.

Trolleys will be picking up passengers every 30 minutes from 2607 N. Sawyer Ave. and driving them to the nearest early voting polling place, NEIU's El Centro, 3390 W. Avondale Ave.

All voters are invited and must bring a government-issued ID.

The trolleys will run between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. with departures every half hour and the last trip leaving at 1:30 p.m.
