Bombay Breakdown Pop-Up Coming to Logan Square This Weekend

LOGAN SQUARE — Two Chicago chefs who have worked in some of the city's top kitchens are teaming up to give their take on Indian this weekend in Logan Square.

Bombay Breakdown, a pop-up dinner collaboration, is taking over Das Doner Kebab at The Radler Friday and Saturday nights.

The pop-up moves to the Sidecar at the Long Room, 1612 W. Irving Park Road on Monday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Indian culinary project has been popping up at the Ampersand space as well as serving food each week at the outdoor Logan Square farmers market.

Yoshi Yamada, who worked at Lula Cafe, Blackbird and lived in Mumbai for more than a year and Zeeshan Shah, who has worked at The Bristol, Custom House and Old Town Social, and the two chefs behind the project.

Bombay Breakdown will be open in the back of The Radler, 2855 W. Fullerton Ave., starting at 5:30 p.m. until "late" Friday and Saturday.

Bengali Brandade - $12

Beets and Bhel - $6

Cucumber and Channa - $6

Gulab Jamun - $6
