UPTOWN — Details have been scarce for the new Mexican restaurant heading to the former space of Filipino chicken restaurant Pecking Order in Uptown, but we do have at least one new detail — a name.
Last week, the awning of the restaurant at 4416 N. Clark St., was repainted, revealing the new restaurant will be called Lucky Mexican Restaurant. Signs in the window reading "Mexican Food Coming Soon" had also been taken down and another a new sign with the name of the restaurant was placed in the window.
Pecking Order closed in July 2014 with complaints about low foot traffic during its two-year lifespan.
