ROGERS PARK — Results are in from Saturday's community vote on how two Rogers Park playgrounds should be redesigned after the summer camp season ends.

Ald. Joe Moore (49th) presented 10 various depictions of how Loyola and Leone Beach Parks could look, and after a meeting at Loyola's fieldhouse Saturday, residents chose design No. 3 for Loyola Park, and No. 2 for Leone.

Loyola's winning design was selected with 56 percent of the vote from about 100 community members Moore said.

The first round of voting for Leone Beach Park created a tie between two designs, but a second round showed a 65 percent favor for design No. 2.

Once completed, all 12 of the neighborhood's parks will have received recent updates.
