MCKINLEY PARK — Leap year is right around the corner.

We get a Feb. 29 on our calendar only once every four years, and the Chicago Public Library thinks that’s something worth celebrating.

The McKinley Park Branch, 1915 W. 35th St., will hold a “Leap Year Party” on Saturday.

The free party starts at 1 p.m. Families and children are welcome to attend to learn the science behind leap year while playing games and creating crafts.
