Man Performing 'Obscene Sexual Acts' After Driving Up To Women: Police

WEST TOWN — Chicago Police are investigating a series of incidents in West Town involving a man who has driven up to women and performed obscene sexual acts while in his car. 

The man was driving a black or blue vehicle with Indiana license plates.

Incidents have been reported:

• in the 700 block of North Rockwell Street at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 8

• in the 2200 block of West Superior Street at 8:10 a.m. Thursday 

The offender is described as a possibly Hispanic male, 25-35 years of age, who is a "pudgy" 180 pounds and has a round face and has buzz cut or is bald. The man might have been wearing a tan coat or jacket, police said. 

The vehicle is described as a dark 4-door vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet with Indiana license plates starting with 41 or 410. 

Residents who witness sexually explicit acts in public are asked to call 911, police said.
