JEFFERSON PARK — Four Far Northwest Side Catholic churches will join forces to mark the season of Lent with a three-part mission.

The Rev. Tom Dore and Christina Zaker, who is the director of field education at the Catholic Theological Union will lead the sessions, titled On the Way to the Resurrection.

St. Bartholomew, St. Pascal, St. Robert Bellarmine and Our Lady of Victory are hosting the mission as part of the celebration of Lent, which marks the six weeks before Easter.

The mission will take place at 7 p.m. Feb. 29, March 1 and March 2 at St. Robert Bellarmine, 4646 N. Austin Ave.

The sessions, which will each be followed by a reception, will focus on how Catholics can search for God, be surprised by God and to be summoned by God, organizers said.

Dore, who was ordained in 1961, now lives at St. Pascal.

Zaker, a member of St. Robert Bellarmine, holds a doctorate in ministry.

Separate sessions will be provided for children in first through fourth grades, organizers said.
