BRIDGEPORT — The Bridgeport Alliance, the neighborhood's grassroots organization, will hold its next meeting Feb. 25.

Starting at 7 p.m. at the First Trinity Community Center, 643 W. 31st St., the meeting will address the group's newly elected officials, the Responsible Business Act and the 31st Street Bus pilot program.

"As we continue to gain momentum from our win for the 31st street bus we will continue working to ensure that the pilot program is successful," said Quade Gallagher, co-chairman of the Bridgeport Alliance.

The Chicago Transit Authority last year approved a “pilot” return of the No. 31 bus route in spring.
