ARCHER HEIGHTS— A man was wounded in an Archer Heights shooting Sunday night, police said.

At 8:10 p.m., a 23-year-old man was in a car when he was shot in an alley near the 4700 block of South Hamlin Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. The man, who was shot in the back, took himself to MacNeal Hospital where he is listed in serious condition, Estrada said.
