NORWOOD PARK — Yoga lovers can get their hearts racing and kick off Valentine's Day with a free yoga class at Norwood Park, officials said.

As part of the Chicago Park District's Valentine's Day celebration, officials are urging Chicagoans to "love themselves" by taking a free yoga class at 6 p.m. Friday at Norwood Park, 5801 N. Natoma Ave.

The class is designed to lengthen, strengthen and stretch participants' bodies while helping them clear their mind. The instructor will help participants of all levels to reduce stress while improving their strength and flexibility through visualization, focused breathing and yoga posture with modifications, officials said.
