COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A South Side woman robbed a Lincoln Park man at gunpoint before forcing her way into his home and stealing an Xbox, prosecutors said Thursday.

The attack happened on Jan. 22 after Ledore Lenoir, 24, and several juvenile accomplices got into a Ford Escape and "headed north, looking for someone to rob," Assistant State's Attorney Lorraine Scaduto said during a bond hearing Thursday.

The group approached a 25-year-old man walking in Lincoln Park, prosecutors said.

One of the minors pulled a gun as Lenoir and her accomplices rifled through the man's pockets — taking his keys, wallet and iPhone, prosecutors said.

The group quickly tossed the phone, Scaduto noted, because they believed police could eventually track them using a Find My iPhone app.

At that point, the group forced the victim to walk to his nearby home in the 1900 block of North Orchard Street, and let everyone inside, prosecutors said. Lenoir allegedly pushed the man while one of the minors continued to point a gun at him.

Once inside, the attackers told the 25-year-old victim not to move while they searched the home, prosecutors said.

The man's roommates — two men, ages 25 and 28 — were asleep during the home invasion, according to Scaduto.

Lenoir and her accomplices made off with an Xbox and several games, prosecutors said, and the victim called 911 as soon as the group left.

The group was arrested later that day when they were caught allegedly committing a separate home invasion in south suburban South Holland, Scaduto said. Police on the scene recovered the Lincoln Park man's Xbox — as well as a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver.

Lenoir, of the 7900 block of South Essex Avenue, was brought before Cook County Judge Donald Panarese Jr. on Jan. 23 to face charges in the suburban South Holland case, court records show. The judge ordered Lenoir held in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Lenoir was back in bond court Thursday, this time on charges of armed robbery, armed kidnapping and home invasion in the Lincoln Park case. Judge Peggy Chiampas set bail in the new case at $200,000.

To post bond, Lenoir would now need $50,000, or 10 percent of the combined bail amounts. As of Thursday night, she was still in county custody.

According to her public defender, Lenoir has two children and was working toward her GED prior to the January arrest.

Juveniles are charged separately.
