LAKEVIEW — A 55-year-old man died Wednesday night, one week after he was critically injured in a Lakeview shooting.

The second man shot Clark in the chest and then called 911, Ald. Tom Tunney (44th) said in a statement. The shooter had a concealed carry license and was taken into custody, but later released.

The autopsy report ruled Clark's death a homicide. As of Thursday afternoon, police are still investigating the incident as an aggravated battery.
