HUMBOLDT PARK — A 20-year-old man was wounded in a Humboldt Park shooting Tuesday evening, police said.

At 7:15 p.m. the man was in the 1200 block of North Washtenaw Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was shot in his back and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
