Man, 32, Seriously Injured in Wicker Park Shooting , Police Say

CHICAGO — A Saturday night shooting in Wicker Park left a 32-year-old man seriously injured, police said.

At 11:30 p.m., the man was in the 2200 block of West Division Street when he was shot in his back, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man took himself to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center and was transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Sedevic said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
