LAKEVIEW — Do you know the true hilarity of an over-stuffed tuna sandwich?

Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland have made an art of towering tuna on bread, and they'll be bringing the act to Chicago next month.

The crotchety alter-egos of comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney have appeared on "Kroll Show" and at New York comedy clubs before starring in an Off-Broadway version. The faux curmudgeons prattle and condescend to great effect, discussing "Bernard Sanders" and cracking corny jokes.

The Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave., will bring the show to the Chicago for the first time in March. Seven shows are set for March 18-24, but dates are already selling out.

Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland present their own show within the show. The characters are Broadway legends credited as "Tony Award-viewing actors," and their resumes match the accolade.

Faizon "currently works as a stand-in model for mashed potatoes and other creamed foods," while St. Geegland taught creative writing "until he was fired for stuff that is in sealed documents."

Mulaney, a Chicago native, met Kroll at Georgetown University. Mulaney spent six seasons writing for "Saturday Night Live" before starring in his semi-autobiographical sitcom, "Mulaney."

Kroll, from New York City, wrote for "Chappelle's Show" before starring as a fantasy-football fanatic in "The League" and his own sketch series "Kroll Show."

Tickets to the 90-minute "Oh, Hello" are $60.
