CHICAGO — Do you want an Uber puppy?
The ride-hailing app is delivering dogs on demand for a limited time Wednesday in advance of the Puppy Bowl, the nationally-televised canine contest on Super Bowl Sunday.
Here's how it works: Until 2 p.m. Chicagoans can open the app and request the "puppies" option. An Uber driver will pull up with a pooch you can cuddle with for 15 minutes. Uber asks that customers bring the dog indoors. The cost is $30.
The dogs here are provided by the Anti-Cruelty Society, which takes in and adopts out pets from its River North office.
