THE LOOP — Northbound LaSalle Street is closed between Randolph and Lake streets while the Department of Water Management makes repairs under the pavement.

The Department of Transportation has announced that traffic is being detoured to the west to Franklin Street, then back down Wacker Drive to the east to LaSalle. CTA buses running northbound on LaSalle are also being rerouted.

The Department of Transportation estimates the street will be closed about two weeks until Feb. 12.

Pedestrian traffic on the sidewalk alongside the Thompson Center is not affected.
