CHICAGO — Rapper Lil Reese is being held without bail on a contempt of court charge, police said.
Tavares Taylor, AKA Lil Reese, is being held on a charge of indirect criminal contempt, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. Mona Saldivar, a spokeswoman for the office, said she did not know what incident the charge stems from, but Taylor has been involved in 26 cases in recent years.
Taylor was taken into custody by Illinois State Police during a traffic stop and brought to the 3rd District station, said spokesman Jason Bradley.
