WEST RIDGE — The West Ridge homeowners trying to sell their 1,877-square-foot condo might just hold the key to time travel.

That's because their top-floor, three-bedroom penthouse unit looks as if it's been untouched since the 1970s, down to nearly every single detail. It's being sold in "as-in" condition.

And for just $158,000, it could be yours.

The apartment sits across from Lincolnwood Town Center mall at 7141 N. Kedzie Ave. and was built in 1972.

While real estate pictures online show other units in the building underwent facelifts as they aged, the owners of apartment 1502 decided they were comfortable staying in the 70s.

Bright patterns featuring neon green, orange and yellow offer a backdrop next to a dining room with a floor-to-ceiling mirrored wall.

Two retro bathrooms, one green and one yellow, also sport wide mirrors — as well as a landline phone for the 70s-fanatic who works from home.

Common spaces feature colorful crushed velvet furniture, patterned wallpaper and a mixture between carpet, hardwood and parquet flooring.

For Jewish occupants, the building also offers a Shabbat-friendly elevator that operates in a special mode that keeps users from violating Jewish law on the Sabbath — which prohibits Jews from doing "work" during that time, including pressing an electronic button. The elevator automatically stops at all 15 floors on the Sabbath.

Property records show the home was listed in 2012 for $125,000 before being taken off the market shortly thereafter. In January, the owner decided to re-list the space for its current $158,000. The Cook County Assessor listed the units worth at $120,410 in 2015.
