WEST ENGLEWOOD— A 32-year-old man was shot Thursday afternoon in West Englewood, police said.

At 4:15 p.m., the man was shot in his buttocks in the 6100 block of South Carpenter Street in West Englewood, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken Stroger Hospital and was listed good condition, Estrada said.

Police said he is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.
