GARFIELD PARK — One man was killed and two others were wounded in a Garfield Park shooting Thursday night, police said.

The shooting occurred at 7:20 p.m. in the 4600 block of West Huron Street in Garfield Park, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

A 23-year-old man who was shot in his chest was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Estrada said. Police originally said he was 23 years old.

Martel Howard, of Westchester, Illinois, was pronounced dead at 8:08 p.m., according to Cook County Medical Examiner records.

Another 24-year old was shot in his stomach and a 21-year-old was shot in both of his legs, Estrada said, and both were listed in "stable" condition at Stroger Hospital.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
