Pedway Map: Where To Eat, Drink & Shop in the Loop Without Going Outside

By  David Matthews and Tanveer Ali | January 22, 2016 7:08am | Updated on December 15, 2016 10:42am

DOWNTOWN — Chicago's winter is just settling in. If you spend your time in the Loop, you might be able to avoid it entirely.

Those who take the Red or Blue lines can likely find food or their workplace Downtown without ever stepping outdoors this winter thanks to the Pedway, the 5-mile labyrinth that connects more than 50 buildings in the heart of the city.

Check out our interactive map of the Pedway system below — which includes some above-ground walkways. Follow this guide, and you'll never have to go outdoors in the Loop again:

DNAinfo Chicago first launched its interactive Pedway map in 2014, but has now updated it to scrub shuttered businesses (RIP, Houlihan's) and add some new favorites (hola, Latinicity).

Dave Matthews describes what you can find in Chicago's Pedway.

Who uses the Pedway? Tons of Chicagoans every day. Now you can too.http://dnain.fo/1nDgQVB
