EDGEBROOK — Everyday Edgebrook will host a Winterbash celebration to fund its efforts to bring more shoppers to the area around Devon and Central avenues, organizers said.

Proceeds from the event will fund the group's future projects including the development of an Edgebrook Farmers Market and other efforts designed to make the business district a more inviting place to visit and shop, organizers said.

The dinner is set to take place from 6-9 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Mathew Bieszczat Volunteer Resource Center, 6100 N. Central Ave. Tickets are $65 for individuals or $120 for couples and are available online, organizers said. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

The bash will feature drinks, food from local restaurants and music by local Classic Rock band Zoo Life, organizers said.
