CHICAGO— Nine people, including a 15-year-old boy, have been wounded in shootings across Chicago since Tuesday morning, police said.

Most recently, a man was shot in South Lawndale, police said.

At 11:55 p.m., the 29-year-old was sitting inside a car in the 4100 block of West Cermak Road when he was shot in his leg and his side, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. He was driven to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, she said.

At 8:15 p.m., three men were wounded in a shooting in the 200 block of North Pulaski Road in East Garfield Park, Sedevic said.

At 1:20 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot in his chest while he was standing outside the 7100 block of South Merrill Avenue in South Shore, Sedevic said. The man, who is a documented gang member, was taken to South Shore Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, Sedevic said.

At 3:45 p.m., a 15-year old boy was shot in his calf as he stood outside in the 6900 block of South Western Avenue in Marquette Park, Sedevic said. He was listed in good condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Sedevic said.

At 5:25 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot twice in his leg when someone in a black sedan got out out the car and shot him in the 9400 block of South Harvard Avenue in Princeton Park, Sedevic said. He was listed in "stable" condition at Roseland Hospital and no one is in custody, she said.

At 4 p.m., a 24-year old man was a passenger in a car in the 2900 block of West Warren Boulevard in East Garfield Park when heard shots and felt pain in his arm, Sedevic said. The man was listed in good condition at Mt. Sinai, Sedevic said.

Earlier, at 10:10 a.m., a person got out of a dark-colored car and shot a 17-year-old in the 4400 block of West Monroe Street in West Garfield Park, Sedevic said. The teen, who is a documented gang member, was hit in his stomach and listed in serious condition at Mt. Sinai, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings, Sedevic said.
