PORTAGE PARK — The story of a beautiful bookworm who falls in love with a hideous beast is coming to life on the Stahl Family Theater stage this fall and winter.
The production of "Beauty and the Beast" from Chicago Kids Company is a one-hour musical adaptation based on the classic fairy tale.
The Stahl Family Theater is inside St. Patrick High School at 5900 W. Belmont Ave. and has free parking.
Performances will take place at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 20-22, Jan. 27-29, Feb. 3-5, Feb. 10-12 and Feb. 15-17, as well as 1 p.m. Feb. 6.
