CHICAGO — Slow Roll Chicago will host a free community bike ride to honor Martin Luther King Jr.

Attendees will celebrate the life of King, a Civil Rights Movement leader, and ride about 10 miles around the community.

They will start at the A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum, 10406 S. Maryland Ave., go to Big Marsh Bicycle and Eco-recreation Park, and then ride back to the museum.

The event begins 9 a.m. Jan. 18 at the museum. There will be light refreshments and then the ride will start at 11 a.m.
