MOUNT GREENWOOD — The CVS pharmacy in Mount Greenwood was robbed Tuesday night by a man who claimed to have a weapon, Chicago Police said.

The robbery occurred at 9:56 p.m. at the pharmacy at 3156 W. 103rd St. in Mount Greenwood, according to police.

The robber was described as a black man about 6 feet tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a hood and scarf, police said.

No weapon was ever displayed in the robbery, and the robber was last seen running east on 103rd Street, according to police.

This same CVS was also one of three area pharmacies that was robbed about a month ago by a man who also implied he had a weapon. That robber demanded prescription drugs and threatened to shoot if he was refused, according to police in the Morgan Park District.

Police did not say if the two robberies were related.
