CHATHAM — A beginners stepping class will take place Saturday at Old 50 Yard Line.
The $15 class for adults 25 and older will be taught by Snoop and Crew from 2-4 p.m. at 75 E. 75th St.
Women are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes with heels.
Stepping has its roots in popular African-American dance styles such as the Jitterbug, the Swing and the Bop. The dance style includes various turn patterns, footwork and pulls.
