Ridge Historical Society Event to Feature Watercolors from Local Artist

BEVERLY — The Ridge Historical Society will host its "Champagne and Sweets Evening" at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The social event at 10621 S. Seeley Ave. in Beverly is aimed at members and friends of the historical society as well as anyone who wishes to familiarize themselves with the group.

Also on display will be the society's collection of Louise Barwick's watercolor paintings. The local artist and teacher painted scenes of the neighborhood from 1895-1905.

Tickets to the event cost $25, and reservations are required. For more information, call the historical society at 773-881-1675 or email ridgehistory@hotmail.com.
