DOWNTOWN — Leave your booze, drones, chairs and fancy cameras at home — they're not welcome at Chi-Town Rising, the city's brand-new New Year's Eve bash.
Police are warning party-goers about the laundry list of items they can't bring to the Chicago River-front bash.

Not that they'd be able to bring a lot, anyway: Oversized bags (which means nothing that's bigger than 12-by-12-by-12 inches, no matter the style of bag) are among the banned items, meaning fest-goers will have to pack light.
Here's what's banned from Chi-Town Rising:
• Alcoholic beverages
• Outside food or beverage
• Chairs
• Drones (unmanned aircraft systems)
• Cameras with lenses longer than 3 inches
• Coolers or ice chests
• Fireworks, smoke devices, confetti cannons
• Weapons of any kind
• Laptops, portable speakers or oversized electronics
• Poles to display banners or flags
• Strollers
• Umbrellas
• Illegal drugs
• Laser pointers and devices
