EDGEWATER — If you've yet to go out and have a fun night on the town this year, Thursday is literally your last chance.

From dinner menus to party packages to specials at neighborhood bars, there's something local for everyone. You can stay in to binge-watch Netflix and nurse chicken noodle soup the next day.

But on Thursday it's time to celebrate.

Here are eight things to do on the Far North Side that beat the hassle of driving and trying to fend off huge crowds.

Happy New Year, Chicago. It's been one heck of a year.

Get Legit French Champagne (And Bloody Mary Fixins' For The Next Day's Hangover) At Rogers Park Social: No one will shame you for the $4.99 stuff, or likely know the difference, but if you really want to show off one last grand act of classiness in 2015, Rogers Park Provisions at 6928 N. Glenwood Ave. has both brut and rose bottles of Canard-Duchene bubbly straight from France.

Make Your Last Meal Of 2015 Count With Revival Social Club's Special Dinner Menu: From 5-11 p.m. Revival is serving up a special dinner menu that comes with a free sparkling toast. After 11 p.m., all bets are off with the usual drink specials at the bar at 1133 W. Granville Ave.

Slam The Buffett And Dance Your Face Off At Uncommon Ground: Take an odyssey through dance, food and more dance at Uncommon Ground, 1401 W. Devon Ave. in Edgewater. From 10 p.m.-1 a.m. party-goers can choose between a $55- or $35-per-person deal that includes a snack buffet, toast and live dance band (the $55 price also includes an open bar). Get tickets in advance here.

Ring In The New Year UK Style With A Toast To Big Ben At R Public House: Sweet home Chicago isn't the only place ushering in a new year. At 6 p.m., R Public House at 1508 W. Jarvis Ave. is holding a toast the moment Big Ben strikes midnight in the United Kingdom, accompanied by a special New Year's menu.

Party With A Polka Band At Red Line Tap: For those who prefer accordions to disk jockeys, Red Line Tap at 7006 N. Glenwood Ave. is throwing a party starting at 9 p.m. with The Polkaholics. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door with free parking for your designated driver at Eugene Field School.

Spend An Evening With Friends At Local Dive Bar 63: At 6341 N. Broadway, neighborhood pub Bar 63 is offering a $60 food and drink package that lasts from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. All you have to do is call 312-375-6154 and reserve your celebratory spot.

Have "The Most Fun You Can Have With Your Clothes On" At Broadway Cellars (Clothing Optional After Midnight): Broadway Cellars, 5900 N. Broadway, is serving up three different dinner packages ranging from $35-$60 per person, including three- and four-course special meal options for early bird, dinnertime and late night seating. The event promises to be "the most fun you can have with your clothes on," but also says after the clock strikes 12, they're no longer required.

Tap Avery Brewing Company Kegs With Norse Bar Without A Cover Charge: The Nose Bar at 6364 N. Clark St. is tapping into something very special this New Year's Eve: beer. Without a cover charge, the bar is offering selections from Avery Brewing Company, along with $3.50 well drinks and free champagne toast.
