CHICAGO — Here's your chance to dine and travel with the best marathon runners in the world.

As part of its $25,000 donation drive, the Chicago Area Runners Association is offering an "Elite Package" to one bidder (minimum $1,500 bid) to the 2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The package includes access to the Elite Athlete Start Tent and Elite Athlete Bus before Oct. 8's race and tickets to the Elite Athlete Dinner that night.

"This package is a dream for any runner," said Melanie Jones, the association's marketing coordinator.

Any donation over $50 will be automatically entered into drawings to win other prize packs.

The nonprofit association connects runners across Chicago and the suburbs "to resources that enable them to run," according to its website.

Dickson Chumba won the 2015 Chicago Marathon men’s race in 2:09:25, while fellow Kenyan Florence Kiplagat took the women’s title in 2:23:23.
