ENGLEWOOD — Police say a 20-year-old man is dead after taking a bullet in his thigh Friday morning.
Around 11:35 a.m. Christmas Day, officers rolled into the 700 block of West 71st Street, where someone had reported shots fired.
Emergency crews rushed the man who had been shot in his thigh to Stroger Hospital.
Angelo Frazier, 20, of south suburban University Park, was pronounced dead at 12:24 p.m., according to county records.
Detectives are investigating. No additional information was available.
