ASHBURN — All King Louie wants for Christmas is a prayer.
Two days after the Chicago rapper was shot in the head, he took to Instagram and asked his fans to keep him in their thoughts:
“MERRY XMAS 2 ALL,” he wrote in the caption of a photo showing the rapper wearing a Santa hat in a hospital bed. “ALL I WANT 4 XMAS IS 4 EVERYBODY 2 KEEP ME N THEIR PRAYERS…”
Louis Johnson Jr. — known in rap circles as King Louie — was reportedly sitting in a parked car in the 8300 block of South Pulaski Road around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, when someone shot him in the head.
Louie is now at Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition.
