HUMBOLDT PARK — A 25-year-old man was shot in his leg in Humboldt Park Friday evening, police said.

Around 7:20 p.m., the man was involved in a "physical altercation" with another man inside a building in the 600 block of North Kedzie Avenue when the other man brandished a gun and fired, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition "stabilized," Sedevic said. Police could not say what condition he was in.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
