NORWOOD PARK — Eighth-grade girls interested in attending Resurrection College Prep High School can take the Norwood Park school's entrance exam Jan. 9.
Registration is not necessary for the exam, which starts at 7:45 a.m. The cost is $25 and students should bring a No. 2 pencil, organizers said.
Water and snacks will be provided to students taking the test; however, calculators are not permitted during the exam, which is scheduled to end at noon. Students with the highest scores can win scholarships to the all-girls Catholic school, 7500 W. Talcott Ave.
During the exam, parents can attend an information session starting at 8 a.m. to learn about the curriculum and programs at Resurrection College Prep, including technology initiatives as well as the practicum/job shadowing program.
Information will also be presented about athletics, tuition assistance and scholarship opportunities.
