ENGLEWOOD — The Englewood community can learn how to get assistance with their energy bills Saturday.

Ald. Willie B. Cochran (20th) is hosting the housing resource fair in the community room at St. Bernard Hospital, 326 W. 64th St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees will learn about efficency grants up to $5,000. There will be free smart power strips and fire safety items, along with refreshments. Parking is also free. Register online here or contact Paula M. Grant at 773-488-2004.

The event is co-sponsored by Elevate Energy, the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County, ComEd, People's Gas, American Red Cross, Chicago's Community Investment Corporation, Neighborhood Housing Services and the city's Planning and Development Department.
