By Kelly Bauer | December 16, 2015 8:48am

CHICAGO — A man was injured in a shooting in Uptown on Tuesday, police said.

At 11:25 p.m., a 24-year-old man walked into Swedish Covenant Hospital with a wound in his foot, where a bullet had grazed him, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman. The victim said he'd been walking in the 4700 block of North Sheridan Road when he heard shots and felt pain, Estrada said.

The man was treated and released from the hospital, Estrada said.

The incident might be gang-related, police said, and the victim is a documented gang member. No one is in custody for the shooting.
