CHICAGO — Animal Care and Control is asking for help in giving shelter animals a good holiday meal.

Animal Control is requesting people donate cans of Merrick Grammy's Pot Pie Dog Food so every dog can have a turkey dinner on Christmas. The cans can be ordered from Animal Control's Amazon wish list for $30 for a pack of 12 or can be bought and brought to its shelter, 2741 S. Western Ave.

Animal Control plans to give every dog a turkey dinner and warm blanket for Christmas with the donations.
