Kids Home for Winter Break? Check Out Film Festival at Beverly Arts Center

MORGAN PARK — The eighth annual Children's Film Festival will return Dec. 30 to the Beverly Arts Center.

The 400-seat theater at 2407 W. 111th St. in Morgan Park will host a pair of children's movies. Admission also includes snacks during the show.

Tickets cost $1 per person for each movie and are issued on a first-come basis. There will be no advance registration this year.

"Minions" will be shown at 10 a.m. and Disney's "Inside Out" will be featured at 2 p.m.

Organizers of the event include Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th), state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-35th), state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-18th) as well as the 19th Ward Youth Foundation and the arts center.
