MORGAN PARK — Santa Claus will be on ice skates from 3:30-4:50 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Morgan Park Sports Center.
It costs $5 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger and $2 for seniors to skate at the holiday event at 11505 S. Western Ave. Skate rental costs $3.
The event will include holiday music and cookie decorating. The skating party will also feature a raffle for Chicago Blackhawks tickets. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Special Olympics Chicago.
Organizers of the event include Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th), state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-35th), state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-18th) as well as the 19th Ward Youth Foundation, SMG and the Chicago Park District.
