HUMBOLDT PARK — Three men were wounded in shootings over an 11-hour period in Humboldt Park Tuesday, police said.

• Most recently, a 31-year-old man was standing in the 1200 block of North Maplewood Avenue when someone walked up and shot at him, according to Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man brought himself to Saint Mary's Hospital with a gunshot wound in his hip, Trainor said. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

• Around 11:15 a.m., a 39-year-old man was shot in his back in the 3900 block of West Grand Avenue, Trainor said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Trainor said.

Police said the man was not cooperating and gave officers multiple conflicted stories about what happened.

Police said the man is a documented gang member and a convicted felon.

• About two hours earlier, a 24-year-old man was standing in the 1100 block of North Pulaski Road when two men walked up and shot him in his left foot, Trainor said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Trainor said.
