JEFFERSON PARK — No need to let the winter chill keep you from picking up fresh vegetables — the Jefferson Park Sunday Market will head indoors starting Sunday.

The market will offer vegetables, meat, eggs and cheese from local farmers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Fischman's Liquors, 4780 N. Milwaukee Ave., organizers said.

The winter market will also take place on Jan. 31, March 20 an April 24, organizers said.

The market will also feature a children's storytime as well as crafts and holiday gifts for sale from local stores, including Distinct Bath and Body.

The Sunday market will include coffee from Portage Park's Perkolator Cafe as well as treats from Jefferson Park's Delightful Pastries and Fannie's Bakery.

Admission is free. For more information, email jeffersonparksundaymarket@zoho.com.
